Bishops Down Primary School in Tunbridge Wells, with a planned admission number of 28, used a Governors Committee to fill the remaining places up until 2009 entry. Following a complaint by me to the Ombudsman relating to the maladministration of appeals at the school, Bishops Down had its admission number raised to 30 to remove this irregularity for entry in 2010.
The following primary schools had additional Reception intake places added in March for 2010 entry, to meet local pressures:
Bishops Down Primary, up from 30 to 60 placesSt Barnabas CofE Primary, up from 25 to 30 places
St James' CofE Infants, up from 70 to 90 places
